A tuned version of the popular AVX Sterco rubber. Feels and sounds like speed glue, but the effect is permanent - no need to detach and re-attach the rubber. STERCO is the result of the latest in Japanese and German table tennis technology. It is an extremely powerful inverted rubber with characteristics equaling or surpassing those of most big-name Japanese manufacturers'. It looks and feels very much like a Japanese high-tension rubber. The top sheet is not tacky, but extremely grippy. Due to the carefully designed geometry of the underlying structure STERCO's top sheet generates extra power and speed. The tension characteristics were formulated into this rubber with an eye on the ITTF's restriction to water based glues only. The soft Japanese sponge ensures great control by extending the dwell time and increasing the size of the contact patch, yet its extremely high restitution factor translates every ounce of your effort into a powerful combination of spin and drive.
